This contemporary watercolor diptych draws inspiration from the redwood trees of California. Gather on the left shows the circling pattern seen in familial clusters of trees. Heal on the right shows the incredible markings of burns, moss, and healthy bark. The painting of these pieces uses ink and watercolor on deeply textured cold pressed watercolor paper, which along with intentional surface scratching, is meant to provide depth and emotion.

Custom matted and framed in creamy white mat and mid-toned oak veneered moldings. 99% UV protective glass.
